My son-in-law is battling brain cancer. He and my daughter are struggling and need support to pay bills, buy food and christmas for 3 kids!

My son-in-law, James, who served in the Marine Corps, was diagnosed with brain cancer (oligodendroglioma) in fall 2009. He had 2 large brain tumors resected, a craniotomy for a subdural hematoma, and another surgery due to a staph infection in the first surgical site. He had the infection scraped off of his skull bone and received home health care for 6 weeks while receiving IV meds. James has a severe seizure disorder as a result of all the head trauma and has severe emotional behaviors. He has new signs of regrowth but they are choosing to wait and watch until the next MRI. My daughter, Brandy, who served in the Army reserves, had a stroke in her upper right cerebellum in 2008. She had to be treated with physical and occupational therapy. She has done very well with treatment, but has coordination and balance issues, memory and concentration issues, high blood pressure, anxiety, and severe depression. James is currently 40 and Brandy is 39 and they have 3 beautiful daughters. Kelsey is 16, Jamey is 6 and Audrey is 5. Kelsey was just diagnosed with epilepsy and they have been trying to deal that issue as well. They both are receiving social security disability benefits. Brandy has even tried to finish her college degree and only has one class left at Franklin University. Her hope is to return to work to take better care of her family. If they were to receive help it would allow my daughter to pay for her last class to earn her Bachelor's degree, pay toward their $20,000 debt to the James Cancer Hospital and buy Christmas for their kids.
