Those of you who see this know what Ed is going through. We are trying to raise money for his final expenses. No amount is too small to help
My husband Ed has liver cancer. We don't know how long he has left. At first he didn't think anything was wrong; he just kept writing it off as a pulled muscle or sleeping in the wrong position. Eventually the sensation just wouldn't subside and he went to the doctor who ordered a biopsy which confirmed our worst fears. At that time, the doctor simply said "Sorry. This is a rough one.", then gave him a hug and patted him on the back. Nobody seems to be able to give us a concrete answer, but we do know that inevitably we will need help. We are fighting this with everything we have and I am trying to keep both his weight and spirits up. If you know Ed personally, then you also know how out of character it is for him to be in poor spirits. He's a great, funny, witty and silly guy. He is worried constantly about everything that is going on and I want to be able to help lessen the amount of his worries during whatever time he has left. Ed has always been the most fantastic and giving husband. He stood by me whenever I fell. He saved my life three times and now all I can do is try to build up enough money to take care of his final transportation and cremation so he has one less thing to stress him and he can concentrate on appreciating the life he has left. His oncologist says the tumors are inoperable- one is the size of a softball and the other the size of a tennis ball. His liver now reaches all the way down to his navel due to being enlarged so much. Any amount you can contribute will be used solely for the purpose of honoring his final wishes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any help you can give. This will help tremendously to ease his burden during these tough times. Please help if you can.
