The baseball family of Bill Sandillo is creating this page in an effort to help the Sandillo family offset living & medical expenses.

In spring 2011, Billy was diagnosed with Metatastic melanoma, with 8-tumors that is very rare for a healthy 48-year old. After two major surgeries to remove half his lung and adrenal glad, several setbacks (full upper body nuropathy, loosing of 30+ pounds including all upper body muscle mass and several weeks of Chemotherapy in Tucson) Billy has finally been able to eat normally and try to see his teams again. Still, he requires chemotherapy care to try to put the cancer in remission.

Amid his recovery from the surgeries, he has begun a long treatment process including both chemotherapy and maybe radiation. These necessary treatments require significant travel to Tucson and time away from his home and family.

Before his sudden diagnosis, Billy operated his own baseball training company. He did  meaningful work within his community. He is now unable to return to work for an indefinite period of time, causing his family significant financial burden. We would like to make Billy's financial situation one less thing for him to worry about.

Billy, Daddy to his amazing five (5) and three (3) year old son's, husband to his wonderful wife Wendy, a devoted friend to many and mentor to several of his coaches in his organization, and the kind of person who puts others first and who always shows up for those he loves. He's the person you want on your side. And now he needs our help more than ever.

We know Billy is determined to overcome this unfair challenge he's been given. He's a fighter. But the financial burden on his family is overwhelming.

The money raised will help alleviate medical and living costs while Billy and his family live on the limited income taken in from his teams. You can make a difference by giving. Please help Billy and his entire family through this hard time.
