The family and friends of Sal Taibi are uniting to raise money to help FIND A CURE with his battle against Cancer. Please show your support!

This site is raising money for our father, Sal Taibi, who unfortunately has been diagnosed with a rare cancer called Mantle Cell lymphoma Lymphoma. Stage IV

Our Dad is only 59 years old and has always provided for his 4 children and given us all the opportunities we could ask for. At times our Dad worked 7 days a week and even Holidays to provide for his family, he worked nights and days so our mom would always be home with us.

About Two years ago our father was diagnosed with Cancer..his cancer is a rare genetic lymphoma. The prognosis is very poor but there is potential for cure in a very small number of people. Life span for people with this type of Cancer is 3 to 5 years and with a Bone Marrow Transplant maybe 7 to 10 years..If things go well.

He went thru 1 year of Chemotherapy and still was not in Remission, so he had to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant to Help Save his Life..

Mantle cell lymphoma was first established as a type of lymphoma in 1992. It is a fast-growing cancer of the immune system that is characterized by small- to medium-size cancer cells that may be in the lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, blood or gastrointestinal system. Despite the availability of many different types of therapies, the cancer remains incurable.

Because mantle cell lymphoma often goes undetected until later stages, it has the poorest prognosis of all lymphomas. Despite the recent discovery of new anti-cancer therapies that have improved the survival rates of patients with various types of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, there is no clear standard approach for treating mantle cell lymphoma

He has undergone a Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Transplant in November, which is a procedure that will hopefully regenerate his immune system and help fight the cancer. and keep him alive. No Bone Marrow Donor was found so he had to under go a new type of Transplant, Which we do not know to much about..

January marks months since he has not been able to work.
Transplants require months and months of recovery. Maybe even up to a 1 year, Before he can attempt to go back to work.

The goal of the donation is to HELP FIND A CURE And to donate to the Mantle Cell Lymphoma Organization so

No donation is too small.
We appreciate all your Help and Support
for your amazing generosity during this difficult time.
