Cancer stinks! Please help us clear the air for Nikki.

In December, Nikki and her husband, Jim, welcomed their first child, Cordelia, into this world.  Unfortunately, their exciting journey of parenthood was quickly riddled with obstacles due to baby Delia's severe GERD and eating aversion.  The months to follow were filled with formula, baby vomit, tears, doctor's appointments, medications, therapy, and hospital visits, thus preventing Nikki from returning to her job.

Things with Delia seemed to have become more tolerable (she's 7 months old now), when life threw an unexpected curve ball.  Two weeks after her 27th birthday, on the night following Delia's Baptism, Nikki was admitted to the ER for abdominal pain.  The news was truly life-altering; after a series of tests and scans Nikki was diagnosed with Hurthel cell carcinoma thyroid cancer.

The top cancer doctors at Edward Hospital are having a "meeting of the minds" to develop her treatment plan because this cancer is extremely rare.  She has already undergone one operation.

The physical and emotional burden the Norton family must bear is great and their concerns are only amplified by the exhaustive medical expenses they have already incurred.  Nikki is positive and as determined as ever to battle this disease.  Please show her your support with a cash donation. deducts 7% of all donations to cover the costs of payment processing and web development.  You can avoid the 7% deduction by mailing a check directly to the family at the address below:
