I want to personally THANK YOU for taking the time to read this and I hope you can find it in your heart to help.

When I was 18, I dared to be an independant young lady and moved into my first appartment. While getting adjusted to my new living arrangement I became very lonely and started my search for a companion. One day while doing my grocery shopping I noticed a flyer on the community wall. "FREE KITTENS" and a picture of orange fur balls with they're mommy. I pulled off a tab, called the number, and made a visit.

While I cuddled with all the fuzzy felines, I noticed one in particular. It was small, pale, and had eyes like an alien. Too cute to pass up, I picked him up and he snuggled into my arms. My heart melted and I took him home. Now that I had my new sidekick I needed a name. My family all gathered and names were tossed. And then, NANO came to mind. Nano from Fernando. That is my cousins name. Nano was the shorter version for anyone who had trouble pronouncing it. So Nano and I started our adventures side by side. He has been my baby. I have never loved an animal as much as I LOVE him.

Recently Nano has not been himself. He stopped eating which has caused he liver to slowly shutdown. He has lost 8 lbs and barely moves. I took him to the vet and she said, "he needs surgery and if he does not get it will need to make a difficult decision."I am now force feeding him and giving him medication to prolong the worst. I never thought I would be faced with a situation like this. I always dreamed he would be there following me everywhere I go like he was for the past 10 years.

Now I am faced with reality, surgery cost too much for me to afford and I may need to put him down. I want to do everything I can for him even if I have to ask for help. If you could help with his surgery, I would be forever greatful to you. Anything is better than nothing and anything brings Nano closer to being healthy and living out the rest of his life.
