Please donate to help Jason overcome pancreatic cancer.

On May 13, 2014, Jason, age 39, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He had emergency surgery on May 20th to remove 5 fast-growing tumors.  He is currently too ill to undergo chemotherapy and radiation because he is also suffering from pneumonia, mononucleosis, and strep throat. He has been unable to afford the out-of-pocket expenses for the IV treatments required to help him overcome the infections. Since 2013, Jason has been paraplegic and wheelchair-bound due to inoperable bone-fused spinal vertebrae. This has caused nerve damage and chronic pain.

Fortunately the pancreatic cancer was caught early and with enough support and access to the medical care he needs, Jason absolutely can make a full recovery from his illnesses and be given another chance at life. He needs help now to eliminate the infections, strengthen his immune system, and get the treatments he needs to eliminate all remaining cancer cells before they have a chance to start growing and spreading again.

Jason has touched so many people with his generosity, kindness, compassion, humor, wisdom beyond his years, and heart of gold as someone who is always willing to go above and beyond to help others. His perseverance and spirit are an inspiration.

Donated funds will be used for:

  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses including the following:

          - Medication co-pays

          - Blood glucose test strips co-pay

          - Doctor prescribed vitamins and supplements

          - Labwork and culture tests

          - IV antibiotics for infections

          - Doctor office visit co-pays

Jason's 40th birthday is October 17th and with everyone's help we can give him the gift of hope and healing. Donations of any amount, whether it be $10.00 or $100.00, will help make a difference and are greatly appreciated. Even if you do not know Jason personally, will you help as a random act of kindness?
