This is the Grace's Rehab Fund. The funds will be used for Grace's rehab treatment costs, and any thing else not covered by insurance.

This is a story of a friend of mine and this is about her daughter. 7 year old Grace.
With swim suits on and towels spread out, Graciela was about to enjoy another fun-filled summer day at Knott's soak city water park with her mom, brother Ruben, cousins and friends. Suddenly, our precious Grace was very sick and in minutes was in an ambulance. An army of family and friends quickly gathered at the hospital for many hours, waiting to hear from the doctors. Two days later, Grace is still in ICU and still extremely delicate but we are so thankful that she has overcome a couple of small hurdles and is getting the very best care. Her Mommy and Daddy will not leave her side and her big brother Ruben, is being faithful to lift his sister up in Prayer. It has been discovered that our little Graciela has a condition called cerebral Arteriosclerosis Malformation (AVM). A cerebral AVM is a tangle of abnormal and poorly formed blood vessels (arteries and veins) that usually forms before birth. These blood vessels have a higher rate of bleeding than normal vessels. Cerebral AVM is a rare condition occurring in less than 1% of people. Currently her danger zone stems from the copious amounts of blood that are in her brain. As the brain drains she becomes susceptible to spasms and seizures. One way that you can help is to pray for Graciela, her family, her doctors and ask others to pray as well.

Philippians 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" Graciela is a sweet, loving, beautiful, smart little girl. She loves Jesus, she dances folklorica, she is on drill team at school and she loves her bulldog Roxy and her lizard Rex.

Grace has impressed the staff here at Health Bridge. When they get new patients they look at charts so all they seen is her injuries and reports. When they have come to meet with her and evaluate her they are all amazed with her progress and her willing attitude to press forward and show everyone just what she is made of (Gods strength). We are certain she will be making rapid progress here. Her physical determination motivates me more then I can say when she gets disappointed with herself it seems like it motivates her even more she stays sad for about a second. She still has a lot of mental unclarity. Her memory is sharp but so many things just seem cloudy to her. This is very normal for the injuries she has endured. This is where she will just need time to heal. Her vision is not perfectly clear either I think this contributes to her fogginess. Her voice is getting stronger and louder everyday but focusing and putting her words together are a huge struggle for her the focusing alone takes a lot of her energy. She gets tired very easy although she will push herself as far as possible even to the point of vomiting.
If you feel in your heart to help this 7 year old girl who has been through a lot and is a blessing from God that she is alive. Please help by donating so she can stay in rehab until she is back to 100%
