This is the Jayden Wilson LCH fund. The funds raised will be used for Jaydens Medical costs and related expenses not covered by insurance.

In 2010 Jayden Wilson began holding his neck to the side and complaining of pain. After several trips to his pediatrician, blood work, and X rays nothing was found. After pushing the issues we had an MRI of his neck done where a large tumor was found on his neck. The tumor had already eaten away some of his bone. He was then scheduled for surgery were the tumor was removed and it was found he had Langerhans cell histiocytosis. During surgery Jayden had caught phenomena and was placed in PICU where he was sedated and placed on a breathing machine for a week. After a week he finally started breathing on his own and was taken off the breathing machine. He was sent home with a neck brace which he had to wear for three months so that his bone could heal. He was also scheduled physical therapy to learn to walk correctly again from the nerve damage, chemo, and being sedated. Jayden began taking chemotherapy a few months later which he continued for a year. During his chemotherapy another tumor presented itself on his pelvic bone. It was confirmed as LCH as well. He is currently doing great and has taken the chemo and medicine like a champ. He has had three surgeries, countless MRI'S, scans, spent a week in PICU and been poked with needles more times than we can count. His medical bills have totaled more than $100,000.00 and we are asking for help for the cost that insurance does not cover. With his disease it has a 50% chance of coming back and the rest of his life will be spent monitoring him through scans and tests. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All monies donated will go directly to his medical expenses. Thank you and god bless. I would have never thought my son would have to endure everything he has. His disease effects 1 in every 250,000 kids.
