Keegan Muckey Botanical Gardens Memorial
We are raising money to put a stone bench with a plaque in the Tucson Botanical Gardens in memory of Keegan.
Keegan Muckey was born and raised in Tucson. At the age of 18 he joined the Army. He was a successful combat medic who served 2 deployments. He wanted to become a physicians assistant or a doctor.
Like his great grandmother before him, Keegan had a love of growing things, and the more difficult the better. He mastered growing orchids and making Birds of Paradise bloom in spectacular fashion. He was a successful hydroponic gardener and was able to make a beautiful and productive garden in his apartment in Washington without a yard...or even much sunlight!
Please help us in our goal to place a stone bench and a memorial plaque in the Tuscon Botanical gardens. It is our desire to give people a place to sit and rest while enjoying the beauty of the gardens he so appreciated.
