The family and friends of Cheenu Moua are uniting to raise money to fund his funeral. Please show your support!!!

Everyone has been touched by cancer. Whether it's a family member, friend or even a neighbor, "No one fights alone."

Cheenu was diagnosed with sarcoma in 2009. It's malignant (cancerous) tumor, which forms in the connective or supportive tissues of the body, including the bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, or blood vessels. It's a rare disease that occurs in less than one percent of all people diagnosed with cancer.

Cheenu's first tumor began in his left calf which he underwent surgery. A few months after his surgery, he went to get a CT scan and the results came back that the cancer has spread to his chest and lower back. He spent multiple weeks in Los Angeles for Chemo- therapy and radiations. In 2011, he had surgery in Stanford for the tumor in his chest. His last surgery was on February 10,2012 for his tumor in his lower back near his spine. Cheenu's luck was not too great. His cancer has spread fast and to the worst places of his body, his head and near his heart. It was too much of a risk to operate on him, leaving radiation and chemo-therapy as the only forms of treatment.

In early May, Cheenu had a fever which landed him in the hospital. He wasn't able to eat because of a sore- throat that he acquired from his coughing. He had a difficult time breathing and walking, due to a lack of nutrition. On May 18th, Cheenu had another CT scan and the results showed that the cancer had spread to his chest with multiple micro tumors and blood clots on his legs and chest. His doctor told him that all they can do was to put him in Intensive Care Unit and give him blood thinners for his blood clots, which is risky that he may bleed to death or for him to go home and spend time and comfort with his family. He chose to be with his family and was discharged to go home.

On May 19th, around 3pm Cheenu took his last breath. His last words are, "I know you guys love me a lot".

Cheenu was a person full of laughter, who loved to have fun. He was a loving son and friend. He was a fighter and battled so hard with his cancer.

These past 3 years has drained his family both mentally and financially. Thank you for all your generous donations, support, and prayers.

Cheenu leaves behind both of his parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters
