This is Connie's Breast Cancer Treatment Fund. The money will be used for medical costs and other expenses not covered by insurance.

Recently, in January 2012, Connie was diagnosed with high-grade, invasive and in situ ductal carcinoma breast cancer. Once she learned about her diagnosis, Connie started working with the best cancer care team in the area. She completed her first of six chemotherapy treatments on February 23, 2012. Her treatments consist of an IV infusion given once every 3 weeks. With the date June 11th circled in red on her calendar, Connie is counting down the days until her final chemotherapy treatment. Once chemo is complete, she is scheduled for surgery on July 5, 2012 with follow-up radiation therapy to begin sometime in August.

Connie trusts she is taking full advantage of all the medical tools available to her to crush this disease, but believes that her faith and belief in the power of positive thinking has and will make the greatest impact throughout the course of her treatment and beyond. She is strong willed and able to push through even the toughest of times with an infectious smile and an amazing attitude to survive.

All four of her children have been incredibly helpful and positive during this process to recovery -Brendan, Kyle, Meghan as well as her oldest son Lance Corporal Dylan from afar at his base where he’s stationed for his first year as a Marine in Georgia.

Connie is so thankful for all the prayers, positive thoughts and generous support she has received from her family and friends, and even friends of friends, during these past few months. But she’s nowhere near the finish line to abolish her breast cancer. She needs our support and dedication to help her continue to fight and prevail against breast cancer.

Due to a number of factors, Connie is without employment currently – so zero income. When hard times have fallen upon us, Connie has been there. Please come together with me, at this most difficult time in Connie’s life, to ensure her and her family’s survival during this trying period. She needs our help now more than ever. Please help by offering any donation you can spare, no amount is too little. Connie and her children have the greatest appreciation for any help we can give. If you prefer, you can send Connie a personal check or gift card, either will be appreciated. These can be sent c/o PO Box 1146 Germantown MD 20875.

She will need many forms of help during this time. If you are not able to help monetarily, please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your time and consideration throughout Connie’s fight for her life.
