The world will remember his name and ever feel his love, light and laughter. May we collectively support him and his family.

A revolutionary champion of love has departed from our physical presence.

He leaves for us, a legacy of active love that transcends all things. He also leaves behind thousands of people who have been touched and transformed by his defiant, radical love. While we mourn the absence of his physical presence, we are compelled to celebrate all that we gained from him during his brief yet powerful journey.

As our physical journeys continue, we can honor Ki’tay by breathing love into everything we do. Although he continues beyond this physical space, Ki’tay’s love and light still know no bounds. His life and legacy are so tremendous that communities across the nation have organized to host celebrations in his honor. Community-led, community-centered memorials will be held in at least three cities across the nation, including Los Angeles, Chicago, & Washington, D.C. (Details below).

As his physical journey on this earth comes to an end, we are calling on the community to collectively support him and his family by providing financial support for his funeral and memorial services. Let us also honor him by centering community love, support and healing in this most difficult time. He lives within each of us, so please continue to share your stories about him and hold fast to Ki’tay’s truth: Love Wins.
