Hope for Kay
Hope for Kay
In July 2007, my sister Kay Mentz was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She has been through multiple procedures and treatments including several surgeries and treatments for chemo and radiation. Her Cancer has metastasized to her lower spine and hip. She can barely walk and her weight has dropped down to 80lbs.
The medical bills are already over $100,000 and there is more to come. My family have done all we can financially to help but it doesn't seem like it's ever enough to fight this disease.
As it stands now, she needs any help seeking treatment at the Dr. Burzynski's Clinic in Houston. Medical insurance will not cover this treatment. This is an alternative treatment facility for Cancer patients with the highest success rate of survival and treating patients to get their cancer in remission.
Without your help, she will most likely die within the next 6-12 months. There's nothing more painful then to watch your sister die slowly. I'm not sure if we will ever have enough money to fight this disease but I want to give my sister some hope. She has been fighting for her life every day and I want her to know that I will fight just as hard to prolong her life. She deserves to live and you can help me make a difference.
All your generous contributions are dedicated to supporting my sister's medical and living expenses. We deeply appreciate you.
