The family and friends of Scott Coltrain are uniting to raise the necessary funds to grant Scott's wish & 'Send Scott Home' Donate Now.

On September 21st, 2011 Scott Coltrain was rushed by ambulance to Regional Hospital at Bayonet Point where he suffered a cardiac arrest & respiratory failure. He was placed on a ventilator & family was given little hope of recovery by Dr's. The following three days were grim. In & out of consciousness, Scott wrote ''Its going to take time for my lungs to heal. DON'T GIVE UP ON ME! Pray for Iowa.'' on September 26th, 2011 the Dr's again gave little to no hope & urged family to discontinue life support measures. While family was saying their 'goodbyes' Scott's vitals/stats made a miraculous recovery and he was able to communicate to his Dr that he wasn't done fighting yet. If you know Scott personally, you know no Dr will ever tell him when it's time to 'give up'. That is only between him & God. So it was decided upon giving him more time to heal. He was transferred on to an LTAC (Long Term Acute Hospital) in hopes of weaning him off the ventilator and sending him home. He has spent the last several months there where he has had to overcome more surgeries and medical conditions. Recently, due to insurance purposes he was moved to a rehabilitation care center in Orlando, FL nearly 2 hours away from his wife Molly & two sons. He no longer has the support he needs or the advocacy to demand he recieves the medical treatment he deserves. This site was established in hopes of raising the funds necessary to make Scott's wishes of returning home to be in the love, care, and support of his family a reality. Due to his dependence on mechanical ventilation the only means of travel is by air ambulance. With your help we can 'Send Scott Home'. Please find it in your heart to donate, spread the word or leave an encouraging word for Scott. Every cent brings us closer to our goal. Thank You All for your continual prayers, love & support!

''Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.'' Luke 6:38
