Hi, my name is Jennifer and I have had a successful career teaching children specifically in the inner school districts of Newark and Elizabeth NJ.

Everything came to end when I fell off of a ladder, my husband divorced me as I had to go on Social Security Disability. It has been a long and painful journey the last 2 years, I have had to get a cervical bonding and now have a titanium plate in my neck. I have 4 herniated discs and one area where the nerve root is showing throughout my back, and have been told that I have degenerative disease. My newest injury is my knee in which I went to the doctor and had to have a needle inserted to drain my left knee and now will get the MRI. I have nueropathy and get ill often.
I was able to supplement my SSD with some part-time babysitting. Although there was not a lot of extra, I was able to send my daughter of whom attends Rutgers University some money here and there. (She is such a good girl and works full time and attends classes full-time...even if you would feel more comfortable donating money to her to ease her burden would make me ecstatic). Now I can't work at all to supplement. I've been given $15 a month for food stamps which is a little silly, but beggers can't be choosers, have been taken to food pantries, however I cannot drive anymore and must depend on others to take me to my myriad of doctor appointments as well to the food pantries. I have many medications that sometimes I skip for something that is more pressing. I do not have family to help and am rather scared. Anything that you can find in your heart to help me, my two cat companions, Toby and Jack, and/or my daughter would be greatly appreciated. I battle depression and anxiety because of how my life and identity has abruptly changed. I stay very close to God as he has gotten me this far and I believe he works through others to do his good deeds as I used to do once upon a time. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this story of mine, and if nothing else, your prayers are worth more than gold....specifically with helping me to not give up as I struggle with this at times too. Also I am pretty isolated and would appreciate prayers of companionship and comfort.
God Bless you and your family,
