I\'m raising money to participate in the delegation to Promote Energy to the Navajo Nation and I need your help. Environmental issues are vital to the security, social, and financial well being of women and girls, especially in non Western areas.

Women’s Earth Alliance is a global organization uniting women on the front lines of environmental causes.  WEA coordinates capacity-building, advocacy and communications support for grassroots women environmental leaders around the world.

Currently we conduct three Initiatives: water supply and safety in Sub-Saharan Africa; sustainable agriculture and local food economies in Northern India; and indigenous environmental justice advocacy in North America.

WEA’s Sacred Earth Advocacy Network facilitates strategic partnerships between Native American women environmental justice leaders and pro bono legal and policy advocates in order to ensure access to justice and support policy reform around green energy development, sacred sites protection, and environmental health. We work with groups such as Black Mesa Water Coalition, Indigenous Environmental Network, Western Shoshone Defense Project, and others.

One of the key features of the Advocacy Network is our Advocacy Delegations, which are opportunities for women advocates to engage in dialogue with key indigenous women environmental leaders, witness environmental desecration, and be supported in taking meaningful action. Through deep witnessing, community building and reflection, participants in our Delegations transform into lifelong advocates for indigenous environmental justice.

Your support today will help convene advocates and activists, building bridges across communities and ensuring access to justice for indigenous peoples working to protect their sacred lands in North America.
