Jake's family and friends are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against cancer. Please show your support and donate to his fund
After undergoing treatment at the Valerie Fund Children's Cancer Center, the family received the heart-breaking news that the chemotherapy did not work and that Jacob’s cancer had progressed.
This lead to a new diagnosis of STAGE III REFRACTORY T-CELL HISTIOCYTE RICH LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA. This form of lymphoma is less common and harder to cure.
Jacob was referred to the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Fortunately, they have taken Jacob on as a patient for a clinical trial of more aggressive regimen of Chemo and Immuno Therapies coupled with a possible Stem Cell Transplant, for which they are hoping Sam or Harrison will be a match.
Jacob will be required to have treatment in Maryland and spend a week there every 21 days for several months, and will continue at the Valerie Center in between visits. As friends, family and a community, we are asking that you embrace Jacob and his family and show your support “For Jake’s Sake.”
