Purrfectly crazy group of cats in need of resources to be protected from fatal bobcat disease and parasites in unofficial rescue operation.

I currently am housing twenty cats that I have taken in as strays or as sick or wounded when their owners could not pay for their needed care. However, with so many cats it is a constant battle against parasite infestations.

Last month, I was finally able to provide the entire bunch with a 30 day dose of Revolution, which provides protection against fleas, ticks, ear mites, and many types of worms, including heart worms for thirty days. After only one month of using Revolution, I could see a big improvement in their overall health as it has helped to prevent them from reinfecting each other with worms and fleas.

I believe if I could provide this for them for even one more month it would make an even bigger difference to their health. However, there is just no way we can cover the cost of this without help of some sort, as another of the cats had to have emergency surgery last month, as well, which was quite expensive and to cover the cost of it we had to break into our rent money.

These cats desperately need continued protection, as I have already lost two in the past year to bobcat disease, a very painful disease that is spread solely by tick bites that is 100 percent fatal to housecats.

We try to do the best we can for these cats, finding them good homes and giving them the care and nurturing they need meanwhile, but we are just currently overwhelmed with costs. I've never tried anything like this before, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to provide them with the care they deserve.

I would be happy to answer any questions and provide photos and/or videos to depict the level of care they receive, where they live, and to show that I am not simply another hoarder. Many can be viewed at my blog at, which I hope to someday use to help support them by providing products, services and information to other cat lovers.
