The family and friends of Rosie Ayala are uniting to raise money to help pay for pain medication during her last days with Leukemia.

On October 12th, 2009, my wife Samira's cousin Rosaisela ("Rosie") was diagnosed with Leukemia at the early age of 41. Without medical insurance at the time of diagnosis, she was provided with medical assistance through federal aid and the local state programs of Illinois.

As of March 1, 2011, and during the most intensive and painful point in her treatment - this coverage is no longer available to Rosie. She was expelled from the hospital two weeks ago and now stays at home, without the financial means to pay for the various medications needed, first and foremost - pain medication. At this point her condition is terminal, living in constant pain as her chilidren (18,17,15), parents, and family are frantically trying to raise money for medication.

It's with much pride, sorrow, and respect for cousin Rosie that Samira and I ask for your prayers and financial donation to help ease her pain. No donation is too small. Try to recall a time when you've felt excrutiating pain, now imagine what life would be like if you had to live with that pain daily while your family helplessly watched over you. Anything you can contribute at this point in her life will make the difference between pain, and no pain.

Samira and I have both lost a parent to Cancer. We thank God everyday that they were able to pass in peace because of quality medical care, and with little to no pain. I can't imagine what Rosie and her familiy are going through right now, please help us help them. Simply click the above "Give Now" button to donate or feel free to mail checks payable to Rosie's mother, Juana Ayala, to our address below.

God Bless,
Dan & Samira Rush.
