Family and friends of Cliff Barvoets are uniting to raise money to help his battle back to health. Please show your support!
Cliff Barvoets is a highly respected and admired musician. He has played in several local bands, Strychnine, Animosity, Dyemaniacal and Last Supper. He is an extremely talented custom car and motorcycle builder/painter for Fat Boyz Auto Body.
At the end of March 2012 he developed body tremors and severe muscle spasms with excruciating pain. He has not been able to walk, completely bed bound, needing assistance with everyday tasks. Obviously, he has been unable to work and his wife, Ali who is self-employeed as a hair stylist has had to limit her schedule to nearly none to be home with Cliff.
It has been very frustrating; numerous exams, tests, and finally admission into the hospital. At the hospital, more tests, a spinal tap, MRI's, and medications to no avail. With emergency room visits, exams, MRI's, Doctors/Specialists, extended hospital stay, possible surgeries, recovery will include extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation, in-home after care and the possibility of permanent damage that could restrict Cliff from returning to work. Not to mention, day-to-day living expenses and bills incurring now and after this horrific ordeal.
With no insurance, these costs are out of pocket for the Barvoets.
