The People to People was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956 to promote cultural understanding and world peace

WE LOWER THE AMOUNT WE NEED FOR WE HAVE BEEN RAISING FUNDS AND GETTING DONATIONS AND WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAVE GIVEN US SUPPORT.

Thank you for your $100 donation to the anonymous donor. We are getting ready to received a generous donation from another anonymous donor and is the reason we are decreasing the amount needed. The YARD SALE on March 3rd was a success. Then we had another one on March 31st. Thats when we raffle the basket (see updates)

My name is Ruth J. Hernandez. An exciting opportunity has come my way.

I have been nominated and accepted as a People to People Student Ambassador. I am a High School Sophmore at Winter Springs High School. Serving as a Student Ambassador will give me a unique chance to interact with people from different cultures in a way that will strongly impact my future.

While my relationship with God has been the main focus, academics have been strongly emphasized by my parents as well. Ultimately I hope to serve in the foreign mission field. My first Mission Trip was to Guatemala and two years after I was at the Dream Center in Los Angeles, California with the purpose of serving others.

The biggest obstacle for me is raising financial support for this opportunity and this is why we are using different ways to raise the funds. Other way you can support me is by going directly to the People to People website which is http://payment.peopletopeople.com. There you will be able to make donations and see the details, donations made, balace owe, and the due date. My Delegate number is 10139185.
.
Our goal is $10,000 because we need extra funds to buy things that I need to take on the trip and also to take funds with me to use as needed.

I invite you to check out my blog on “RuthJessenia.blogspot.com” I will blog about my experiences before, during and after the program.

Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Ruth J. Hernandez
