This Fundraiser is to help us get a car so we can take Bear back and forth to the Vet and to the Emergency Vet if needed.

We were told we should start a fundraiser for a car to help with Bear. We are asking for enough to get a safe and dependable used car and to help pay for the license and title transfer and insurance. Renting a car is an option for when he has appointments, but if there is an emergency during the night, there is no place open to rent a car. So far every time we have had to take him to the emergency vet, it's been at night or very early morning. When we take him in the car we use (my daughters fiance let's me use his car. He's unable to get his car fixed because he only works a part time job and is unable to find full time employment.) we have to risk going up there in an unsafe car that has a damaged hood, it's corners are bent up, from when the hood flew up while we were driving, because the hood wasn't latched properly. If enough wind goes under the hood, it can de-latch and open the hood while driving on the highway. The last time we tried to go up to Madison, we had to turn around, because the hood kept almost coming up with the winds that day. Also we believe there is cracks in the exhaust manifold gasket, because when we sit at a stop light or accelerate quickly, exhaust smell comes through the heater vents into the car. The shocks are also shot, when ever we hit the slightest bump, the car bottoms out. This is to name a few of the things that are wrong with the car we use. We have no one else to take us up there, so it's this or a rental, but like I said we can't rent a car at night for him. We have no way of getting our own car so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated and would help so much.

For those who don't know Bear, he is a seven year old chow mix, who has been diagnosed with Chondroblastic Osteogenic Sarcoma (Canine bone cancer). His previous fundraisers were to help him get radiation, chemotherapy and to help with hospital stays. You can still view the previous fundraisers for Bear at, and to see his full story. We have a twitter account if you want to follow us and keep up with Bear, and a facebook group if you would like to join.
