After years of pain due to PKD, Mark is finally getting a new kidney. Please help us raise money for medical costs and travel expenses.

Mark was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease when he was 21. Over the last 26 years, the cysts have multiplied, enlarging his kidneys to the size of footballs. The increased size and weight have caused an unbelievable amount of pain, decreasing his quality of life and making work too difficult to bear.

Finding out that Michelle was a donor match was the answer to many, many prayers. In a matter of weeks, Mark will undergo a double nephrectomy to remove his diseased, oversized kidneys and one of Michelle's healthy kidneys will be transplanted to give him another chance at a healthy, pain-free life.

Unfortunately, this vital process is not cheap. Between medical costs and travel expenses, it quickly becomes overwhelming. That's why we're rallying our friends and family to raise money to alleviate some of the financial stress associated with the transplant. We want Mark to recover quickly without the added anxiety of these expenses.

Any donation -- no matter the size -- is greatly appreciated. Thank you for thinking of us during this stressful, yet exciting time. Please keep our family in your prayers.
