I am in need of financial help in order to get to a teaching job. Struggled for years to become a K-8 teacher and found it in South Korea.

My name is Mr. Quinton D. Crawford, and I am a qualified teacher [formerly of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District.] Since 2009, I have been certified to be a K-8 grade teacher, but the economy affected my opportunities relegating me to only substitute teaching. Due to this I have only been able to take temporary-intermittent work assignments. There was light at the end of the tunnel earlier this year in a full-time position at Sullivan Middle School for the 2012-13 school year, but that school was closed back in June 2012.

In desperacy, I have been applying to positions in locations throughout the United States and around the world in safe locations since June 2012. “I have tentatively been hired for a great life-changing position in the city of Ansan (South Korea) as a 5th grade elementary school teacher. All I need is help to purchase a one-way plane ticket and I have the job.” My 8 years of experience has encouraged the school to hold the position for a limited time. School will hold the opening for me until there September 13th deadline.

The only hindrance I have is that I cannot afford the one-way $460 plane ticket to South Korea. Once the employer agency knows that I have a plane ticket, they can complete the hiring process by sending me the contract. All other issues in-country are ready for me. They used to offer free-flights, but abuse by immature persons they hired over time has cancelled that policy.
I will get a hiring contract prior to departure, but I only need help to get there.

The amount that I need to purchase the plane ticket is $400, as I am doing everything I can to raise funds to accomplish my goal in finally getting to work teaching in the capacity I feel robbed of for years here.

Any amount you can pledge will bring me closer to the work I have been trained for and sought to do for many years. Hope to return to the U.S.A. when education work is stable.
