This drive is to help raise funds for life-saving emergency surgery and medical care for a young, rescue Bernese Mountain dog. Please help!

Matty (my rescue Bernese Mountain dog) swallowed a foreign object and required life saving emergency surgery. In doing so, he lost 10 inches of intestine and is fighting off a massive infection. We are also hoping that his pancreas doesn't have any issues since the object was located right by it and won't cause any further medical issues. It took me about a week and a half, along with quite a bit of money and tests to discover what was making him so sick. I will admit to needing some help with his vet bill, as I could not make any decision other than the one to fight for Matty's young life. I have helped others in the past and now find myself in the same situation, so I hope there are some out there that can do the same for me.

I am asking for help honestly here, so if you would rather help by sending a donation directly to the vet, please feel free to do so. The vet address and office phone information can be found at:

Donations can be sent in care of Matty, aka "Batman"

Update: Matty seems to be doing better every day. His infection has gone down and he has been able to eat small frequent amount of canned food. Now we are hoping he will be able to move on to small frequent amounts of dry food. If he continues to progress, he may be able to have his abdominal stitches out later next week. We can still use quite a bit of help regarding the bill and thank you so much to those who have helped so far. Please continue to spread the word.

Update: Matty is home and is back to starting his normal routine. It seems like a major miracle his was able to progress how he did for the amount of damage and time it took to fix the issue...Please continue to spread the word! We have very little time left to get this vet taken care of for everything he did for Matty...PLEASE HELP IN ANY AMOUNT!
