Michael is the father of 3 and a hairstylist by profession. For a year, he has been unable to work due to liver failure and in need.

Michael is the father of three beautiful children and is expecting his first grandchild (it's a boy!) this spring. He has worked as a hairstylist for over 25 years.  He is one of seven brothers and is the heart of his family.  Michael somehow manages to bring everyone together from all parts of the country for big, energetic, loving, rowdy family gatherings.

He is the first person to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, but the last person to ask for help.  And now he needs it.

For many years, he has lived with a disease that infected his liver.  Over the past year, his liver has steadily declined, forcing him out of work and leading doctors to try many alternatives to maintain Michael's health until a liver transplant was possible.

The last week of September 2012, Michael's liver started failing rapidly causing fluid to build in his body and ammonia levels to sky rocket.  Since then he has been permanently hospitalized at the University of Miami Hospital as his family continues to pray his body fights off infection and his kidneys function so that Michael remains on the liver donor list.  He is currently first on the liver donor list in the state of Florida.  Doctors are urgently concerned that his kidney's will begin to fail causing further damage to his already failing health.

For many months Michael has been unable to work and his financial obligations are becoming more difficult to meet.  As he continues to fight for his life in the hospital with the prayers and support of his family and friends, he also needs aid.

Donations will be used to maintain Michael's financial hardships.

This page is designed to help fundraise and has been created by his family members; however, if you are unable to donate financially, your thoughts and prayers are greatly and genuinely appreciated.

Thank you.
