Randy Whitenite is battling Metastatic Adenocarcinoma with unknown primary source and Stage IV cancer. Please help.

UPDATE:

“I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2 NIV

Randy went home to be with our Lord and Savior on 8/23/2012 at 9:07 p.m.  As a testimony of God's gracious mercy, Randy suffered no pain whatsoever.  He did not have to take pain medicine at all in living his last few months at home.  Randy never complained, not even once; God gave him a peace that overflowed into his family and friends.

Please continue to pray for the family and lift up Tina as she walks this new journey.  Please continue to share the website details as you feel led so that she is not left with the burden of medical bills.

Thank you each and everyone of you for your prayers, donations, hugs and love.

Sonja Says:  Have you ever had those few people in your life that you know would be there no matter what?  For me, Randy & his wife, Tina, are those few people.  They have been apart of my life since I was little.  I had no Dad to stay around and actually be the Dad.  But I did have Randy.  I knew when my siblings & I went for visits to their home, we'd have the best time!  I remember fun times of swimming, teaching me to ride a bike, family outings (that was rare for my immediate family), cooking, and most of all, I felt loved for exactly who I was.

When I got older and had kids of my own, Randy & Tina became our kids God-given Grandparents.  And they truly have been.  They were there when our kids were born, brought us food, and let us live with them when our own daughter's medical condition was made known almost after her birth.

Randy has been a healthy and active person all of his life.  He was in the Air Force for several years, left honorably, and then went to the next job in his life.  He was at that job and did very well, but the company laid off almost everyone when it merged with another company and he lost his job.  He then went to a smaller-size job, but still worked a lot with that job.

It was in March of this year (2012) when Randy had severe headaches that brought him to the ultimate diagnosis of Metastatic Adenocarcinoma with unknown primary in Stage IV cancer.  His world has not been the same since.  He has had high doses of radiation treatment.  With that, comes the aftermath--being sick, severely weak, and very tired.  As of this writing (August) he is at home with Tina caring for all of his needs each day.  As you can imagine, he is unable to work.

Heather & Becka Say:  My sister and I are attempting to raise money to help our Mom & Dad.  The terminal cancer our Dad has, he has been fighting since March and it is now progressing and so are the burdens in finances caused by medical trauma of such critical magnitude.  Many of us are challenged with month-to-month, paycheck to paycheck but when such a crisis like this strikes, it impacts every tendril of life whether it’s, financial, spiritual and/or emotional.  We continue to try to be there for them in every way possible and hope to be of more support through this site to try to lighten their heavy load on this awful path.  It’s all so very hard.  No doubt, this cancer monster strikes in so many families and we never thought it would hit us so hard to rob us of our Dad.  Thank you for caring and praying.  Thank you for giving by donating and/or passing along to others who can as well.  May you be greatly blessed and thank you again.

If you can not donate, will you please share the link for others to get the word out.  Thank you!
