Please help 3 yr old Zyen while he recovers from a Bone Marrow Transplant as he fights this rare, fatal disease.

Zyen was born with a rare, fatal disease called X-Linked Lymphoproliferative (XLP), his only chance for a cure was a Bone Marrow Transplant. So, on his 3rd Birthday, Zyen was admitted to Children's Hospital Boston (CHB). The following day, he received 7 days of intensive chemotherapy. Then, on May 31, 2012, he received his bone marrow transplant.

The highlight of his day during his 5-week stay at CHB was being able to go to the playroom once or twice a day for short intervals. He is currently still in the Boston area & will be there till around the second week of September. Thru all of this he remains happy & continues to wear a smile.

But, due to his illness & very limited exposure to public places, he has never enjoyed the thrill of going to the zoo, an amusement park or parade. He can't wait till he's better and able to go for tractor rides with his Pawpaw (great-grampy) again.

Once he does go home, there can be no visiters to his house & he will have to make weekly trips, alternating between two hospitals, 3-8 hours away home for up to 9 months.  He needs to be constantly watched & checked to make sure his new bone marrow is working & he hasn't caught any illnesses or developed any signs that his body is starting to reject his bone marrow.

We would greatly appreciate any help you can give, be it your thoughts, prayers or monetary donations to help offset the financial burden this has placed on his family (such as travel, lodging, food & lost wages from work to be with Zyen during his stay in Boston & after he returns home). Thank you again for your support & may God greatly bless you.

If you would rather send your donation by check or money order, please make it out to Zyen Provost & send it to the following address: Zyen Provost c/o Signa Doughty PO Box 282 Ft Fairfield, ME 04742-0282
