The expenses associated with Steve's bone marrow transplant have been overwhelming and now the cancer has returned.

Steve was diagnosed with leukemia in 2002 and has been in and out of remission for 10 years. He was advised that he needed to have a bone marrow transplant in January 2011. The transplant was successful but in October of 2011 it was determined that the leukemia had returned. He is currently undergoing multiple cycles of r-eshap chemotherapy in hopes that remission can once again be attained and a possible 2nd transplant can take place. Steve was laid off from work in 2007 and was unemployed for a year. After acquiring a new contract consulting job for 2 years, he went on disability in 2011 for the transplant. The reduction in income and ongoing expenses over the past few years caused him to have to deplete his savings and 401K fund. Without assistance, he and his family will lose their home to bankruptcy. Your financial contribution will go toward paying off all of his medical expense debt.
