Hi, my name is Jamie Judd and my dad has colon cancer.

As I sit here to write this, I think back to the lessons my dad has taught me and why he is the most influential person in my life. Although he has given me many words to live by here are just a few.

Lessons learned from my father-
1. Commit, Commit, Commit
2. Use your God given talents
3. Give people the benefit of the doubt
4. Serve others unselfishly

But there is one thing my Dad did not teach me -- how to ask for help.
He is a private man with private struggles and today I am asking for help on his behalf. A couple of months ago my Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. He will be having surgery today at 17:30 MST and will be going in without the benefit of health insurance. His surgeon asked him why he waited so long and his response was "I was trying to find the money." Although that money isn't close to being "found" his surgery could not wait.

One thing he will be going into surgery with is the support of family and friends through thoughts and prayers. We are fortunate to be a praying family. We know that God's blessings are abundant and that His provision is perfect. We also know that He makes miracles. We know that our faith brings favor.
I am specifically reaching out to my friends and my parent's friends and family that could be a financial miracle in their life at this moment. There has already been and will continue to be expenses far beyond the high costs of surgery as he will be out of work for some time so I have set up this site to get them through the roughest part--recovery.

If you see a place to give financially--Thank You. You are a gift.
If you feel a call to pray--We love you. Your faith is an inspiration.

My warmest thanks and appreciation on behalf my family and the impact you have made in my Dad's life through your friendships.

Please feel free to forward this link to anyone you think might like to know about my dad, Mike.
