My 13y/o's service dog needs to have surgery. All raised money will go toward her care. Please help if you can.

I'm writing regarding my daughters dog, Apatche. A lively 9 1/2 y/o hound mix. She is a service animal for my 13 y/o daughter. She requires having her tail amputated. We just got home from an Emergency clinic and they gave us a quote of $1400.00. The story is apparently she is allergic to fleas and got bit. They saw no evidence of fleas but apparently it only takes one. The saliva causes them to go into a itching (or in her case chewing) frenzy. It started with just nibbling the hair on her tail off. But yesterday while we were out I came home to blood everywhere, she had chewed into the tail so badly that we can see the bone (or cartilage). The vet cleaned it up and gave her some antibiotics and pain pills but said the lower half of her tail will have to come off. They fear the infection will spread into her blood stream. Unfortunately like most other families I can't afford any unexpected expenses as we live paycheck to paycheck as it is. Three weeks ago i had a tree land on my truck costing me a $500.00 deductible and tonight a vet visit cost me $218.00. I'm sure you get lots of requests but I'm asking not for myself or Apatche but for my disabled daughter, Jessica. Can you please help me?
