Looking for help to get shoulder surgery done on our 7 month old Bernese Mountain Dog, Booker.

Booker is a 7 month old Bernese Mountain Dog that was diagnosed with OCD (Osteochondrosis Dissecans) in his front left shoulder. OCD is a painful joint disease that affects shoulders, elbows, and knees. The pain is caused by inflammation and lesions on the smooth cartilage in the dog's joints, right where the bones meet. Small pieces of the cartilage break off and float free in the joint. Those bits of cartilage don't die; they keep growing. Once they're floating free, fluid builds up and calcification occurs. The joint gets inflamed and swollen, nerves get irritated, and the pup is in pain. Booker is a happy, playful dog that has recently began to limp and wimper after a long day. It breaks our heart to see him go through this much pain, but we also can't afford the surgery which ranges from $2,700-$3,400. We have already spent $600 on the diagnosis and now we just want to make him better. He's so young and has a full life ahead of him with our 2 year old daughter who adores him. Any amount helps. Thank you!
