Phi Psi Fraternity at DePaul University fund raising for Chicago Polar Plunge

The Phi Kappa Psi Illinois Zeta Chapter at DePaul University will be participating in the Chicago Polar Plunge to raise $1500 to help send an athlete to participate in the Special Olympics. Our fraternity takes pride in our service to philanthropy and the volunteer work we do. We have dedicated countless hours of volunteer work for organizations like ASPIRE of Illinois, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and various Chicago community organizations. We take pride in the fact that we are the top fraternity at DePaul because of our strive to succeed and our devotion to our fraternity's motto, "The great joy of serving others," and hope to keep it that way in the years to come. We were honored to be given the Spirit of Service award at DePaul for most service hours per member.

Our commitment to helping out people with mental and physical disabilities has made an impact on us on a more personal level. Many of our brothers have known people with disabilities and they have asked them to help out raise money for the Polar Plunge. We are proud to say that ALL the members of our fraternity will either be participating in racing into the North Shore Beach or cheering us on as spectators. It may sound crazy but we are excited to jump into the freezing water with costumes on to show our support!

If you would like to donate, any dollar amount will help out greatly. 100% of the money raised will be given to the Polar Plunge event to send a Chicago Athlete to the Special Olympics. With your help we can help an individual participate who might not have had the opportunity.
