This is fundraiser for medical expences for Sean Cunningham who recently had a large brain tumor removed.

Family and friends of Sean Cunningham are rallying together to raise money for Sean's medical expenses as he recovers from a rare brain tumor.

Doctors discovered a rare brain tumor (Subependymoma) when Sean went into the hospital suffering from a sudden headache on February 9, 2012. It was caused by a very serious hematoma on his brain from one of the blood vessels feeding the baseball size tumor pushing on his brain stem. He was 29. Miraculously, the entire tumor was removed 3 days later and he has been recovering ever since. Sean turned 30 while in the ICU at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and is now in their intensive rehabilitation program. He has a long way to go, but he has come leaps and bounds but will require 24 hour care after leaving the hospital and must still endure 5-6 weeks of radiation treatment following rehab. He has been in the hospital exactly one month now (Feb 9 - March 9) and is uninsured. He was a part-time bartender and was freelancing small motor repair work, hoping to start a more full time business in the future. This could still happen as Sean is young and strong. I came to give forward because people were wanting to show their support for Sean and our family and may be far away and wanting a convenient way to support Sean. We are humbled and very grateful by the great amount of financial support and love given to us over the last few weeks. Please keep Sean in your thoughts and prayers as he works tirelessly to recover.
