This is Myla Gott recovery fund to help with the therapies that will help her rewire her brain. Please Help Us Achieve the Results.

Myla experience a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in January 2009 from a automobile accident. She has a great deal of gains against all the odds, she still is in a wheelchair (that she calls her chariot), she can stand and pivot with very little help, she also has used a walker again with a little assistance. She is G-Tube feed, but her swallow is improving. She is also non-verbal, but spells out complete correct sentences for everything she wants. Vital stem therapy would help with her swallow, therapeutic yoga will help with her balance, neurfeedback can help her with rewiring her brain, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has had some great results in a person recovering from a brain injury. All of these therapies must be perform in a aggressive, receptive, manner, which drives the cost UP. She is very cognitive and is working hard at making the recovery work for her. Tutors, therapies, and doctors have told over and over again that she a hard worker and in many cases one of the hardest workers if the hardest at making a effort to improve her position in life. Desire is the start to success. The cost of HBOT can run from $8,000 to $16,000 per year, neurofeedback can cost $400 to $800 per month. The other therapies will cost from $500 to $1000 a month. Myla has spent time with biofeedback, neurofeedback, therapeutic yoga, therapeutic massaging, and some HBOT all at my and friends expense today with the positive results we have experience it is becoming a financial issue for me, while I have been by her side each and everyday since January 2009 to support her gains, I will continue to financially contribute to Myla's needs at the same rate that I have been doing over the last two years, that is $1000 to $1500 per month. One Hundred percent of the money raised will support therapies for Myla forward.
