The friends and family of Rita Yatrofsky are in need of your support to help her fight colon and uterine cancer.

Rita’s Story: After experiencing a sudden anemic episode with extreme fatigue, Rita was diagnosed with colon cancer this past July. At the onset of this episode she was so weak she was unable to walk around the house. After many laborious tests the doctors found that there was internal bleeding which had to be located immediately. She underwent several emergency procedures to locate the bleeding, (including a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and endovaginal sonogram.) Rita was then given an emergency blood transfusion while she awaited test results. The final test results revealed two large tumors in her colon, one of which is located on the cecum. The doctors also discovered additional lesions between the second and third lobe of her liver as well as lesions in the uterus. Rita is a very special woman with a big heart. She is a mother, a grandmother and a wife. She has been married for 44 years and has dedicated her life to caring for others. Rita currently resides in Fresno, California with her husband, Steven. Together they raised two daughters and now have two grandsons. She has had an impact on so many peoples lives, including her own mother who recently passed away. Rita cared for her for 20 years after her mother suffered a stroke and later battled breast cancer. Those of us who know Rita know her as a kind and giving spirit who is always smiling. It’s now time for us to return her love. Rita’s diagnosis has caused her and her family to drastically alter their lifestyle. These changes and expenses have created a tremendous financial burden that has been very stressful not only financially but also emotionally. The funds raised will help cover Rita’s medical bills as well as support her new health regime as she enters a period of extensive treatments. With your help we remain hopeful that she can restore her health and return to the beautiful and healthy Rita we all love. We do believe in miracles and we are so grateful for all your donations, love, support and prayers during this tough time. Rita has a true passion for life and spreads joy wherever she goes. Let us restore her joy by helping restore her health! Thank you for reading our story. God bless. If you wish to contact Rita or the Yatrofsky family please contact us at:
