The family of Cindy Martin has teamed up to raise money as she continues to recover from brain surgery and undergoes treatment. This is our second fundraiser because so many people have been asking us how they can continue to give!

We all noticed Cindy wasn't feeling well around the middle of August 2010 when she just hadn't been acting herself. She seemed a lot less perky and a lot less talkative. Those of you who know Cindy know WELL that she is a talker. She began to realize something was wrong when the headaches on one side of her head continued to happen and she was tired all of the time.

After going back and forth from doctors who first diagnosed a sinus infection, we finally decided to take her to the ER on Friday, October 8th. Here is where the mass in her brain was found and Cindy was admitted to Fairfax Hospital where she underwent brain surgery on Wednesday, October 13th.

The surgeons removed more than 90% of the tumor, but the remaining will require multiple phases of treatment including radiation and chemotherapy until this nasty tumor is completely gone and DEAD!

Cindy did awesome after surgery, and doctors were amazed by her reaction to the first chemo and radiation phase of treatment. But, now the fight continues as she goes into the 2nd phase of treatment.

Because Cindy is a hair stylist and works on commission she is unable to earn any income because she can't work at this time. Plus, with further treatment there are further expenses that continue to mount.

On behalf of Cindy and her family we are asking for your help in raising money to help her with her living and treatment expenses so that she can focus on what is most important - her health.

Any DONATION counts and we appreciate everything that is given. Thank you so much for your efforts, and for keeping us in your prayers. :)
