Shelter-A-Child Motorcyle Run

PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO FAMILY, FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES THAT MAY BE INTERESTED IN RIDING WITH US, SPONSORING OUR EVENT OR SUPPORTING SHELTER BY PLEDGING TO THE RUN.  

Prizes will be awarded to the individuals with the most pledges collected!

Join us as we ride through Northern Illinois to raise funds for the abused and neglected children helped and protected by Shelter, Inc.'s programs and services.

Shelter, Inc. is a nonprofit child welfare agency that provides foster care, emergency and longer term housing for abused and neglected children and adolescents. Our Healthy Families program provides home visitation services for first time parents to promote positive parenting skills and our Community Education progras provides educational seminars and promotes awareness of abuse, neglect and other social problems impacting children and their families.

The Shelter-A-Child Motorcycle Run will begin at City Limits Harley Davidson in Palatine, IL at 9:30 am with donuts and coffee. The group will then ride to JJ Twigs in Wauconda, IL to meet additional riders at 10:30 am. JJ Twigs will also have refreshments and riders may chose either starting point.  

At 11:00 am, all riders will depart from JJ Twigs for a 60+ mile ride through scenic Northern Illinois & Southern Wisconsin.

Post Run Celebration:  Riders will return to JJ Twigs at 1:00 pm to enjoy live music, food, refreshments, raffles and more.
