Let's end Alzheimer's Disease! Take everything from us, but please let us keep our memories! Donate to help find a cure!

My grandma became my baby in her 70's due to Alzheimer's. She was bullied by this disease and was never given the chance to fight back. The disease quickly consumed her, taking away her ability to remember, walk, speak, eat and then unfortunately breathe...

"You will never believe how much a smile means coming from a person that don’t speak
And every smile, I thought to myself, she remembers me even if that wasn’t the case
But smiles become just as meaningful as saying “I love you” and when she passed we all swore after three weeks of struggling to breathe, she finally had a smile on her face…" -Stacy, granddaughter

Alzheimer's is hereditary and the fear of watching another family member being robbed of their memory is extremely difficult to wrap my mind around. It is time to be proactive and help find a cure. The money raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's association on September 30th in Flushing Meadow Park and October 21st in Manhattan, as I walk for my grandma with hundreds of others that are struggling with, care takers of or loved ones of people who have been robbed of an incredible treasure, their memory.
