I am a 32yr old single mother that needs help to go to the Mayo Clinic. I have acquired approx. 15 medical diagnosis over the last three years and need help finding a primary cause so I can once again, provide for my beautiful children!

My primary photo is the very last photograph taken before my medical turmoil that began three years ago.  In the last three years, I have been diagnosed with palidrome rheumatism, osteo-arthritis, degenerative disk disease, osteopenia, hypercalciuria, hypocituria, 2 left ovarian lesions, 1 right ovarian lesion, hypersomnolence, peripheral neuropathy, hiatal hernia, migraines, and eustachian tube dysfunction.  I take approximately 30 pills a day to manage all of the above.  I have a neurologist, urologist, nephrologist, ENT doc, rheumatologist, endocrinologist, orthopedist, and psychotherapist that I see on a regular basis.  I approximate  3-5 doctor's appointments per week to manage all of the above.

I am unable to do ANYTHING that I was able to do three years ago before all of this began, even the simplest tasks such as cleaning and cooking.  I wake up every morning and vomit once or twice.  I have to wait 30 min-1 hour for my medications to "kick in" before I am able to move around without pain, nausea, or dizziness.  I suffer from chronic abdominal pain, joint pain, kidney pain, nausea, and fevers.  I have trouble taking my kids to/from school, cooking meals, cleaning, and anything that requires stable movements.

My physicians want to send me to Mayo Clinic to help identify a primary cause of all of the above which could be valuable in my medical treatment.  However,  I have Colorado Medicaid for health insurance, which does not cross state lines.  I am also unable to work due to my medical conditions and am currently still waiting for my disability hearing date.

If I could financially afford to go to the Mayo Clinic, it would give me hope for my future as well as my children's.  It would give me hope that maybe, someday, my quality of life can be improved and hope that someday my children could be able to just be children, without the added stress of their ill and disabled mother, as well as adult responsibilities.

Sincerely,

Christy
