The money will be used for travel expenses so Patricia can see her grandchildren. Please help in any way you can.

I would like to introduce you to the Yurkovich family of Crestline, CA. David and Roberta Yurkovich have seven children, ranging in age from 2 to 20. Roberta home schools all of their children and Dave holds two jobs to support his family. His primary job is working for a Psychiatric Hospital. He also works at night cleaning a church/recreational center. The children are all healthy and happy and very well loved.
The whole family sells arts and crafts and jewelry which they make themselves from recycled bottle caps, soda pop can tabs, buttons, etc., to supplement their income.

Dave’s mother is terminally ill and the family would like to visit her in Missouri to help her during her illness before it is too late. Unfortunately, the cost for a family of nine to travel from California to Missouri is more than they can bear. Roberta and Dave have researched the cost for flying the whole family, which is out of the question. They also researched the cost of renting a van vs. renting two smaller vehicles. They will also have to stay at a motel near his mother’s home because it is not large enough for all nine of them. The total cost for travel, hotel stays and food is estimated at approximately $6,000. This is based on very conservative and economical travel arrangements. They have been saving the proceeds from their jewelry and arts and crafts sales for the past few months. They are so loved in our community, our local bowling alley, Rim Lanes in Crestline, sponsored a fundraising bowling event. The economy being what it is, they have only raised $800 for their trip.
If you have ever lost a loved one, you will understand how important it is for them to visit Dave’s Mother and the children’s Grandmother.
