The friends and family of Cameron Coe are uniting to raise money to help him return home for the holidays. Please show your support!

Cameron has been away from Washington State for almost 10 months and living in Joplin, Missouri since February 2012 working as a volunteer for AmeriCorps. He has helped rebuild and oversee construction projects after the devastating destruction from the tornado that hit Joplin in May of 2011. Cameron eventually ended up running the chapter's office and coordinated volunteer groups with many locals who were affected by the tornado and in desperate need. He has expressed having learned so much from his experience, but misses his home, his family and his friends deeply.

There are many of you of whom Cameron wants to visit over the holiday season. His plan is to fly into Seattle and stay for a day or two, take a ferry to Port Angeles for 3-4 days to see his family and best friend who just had her first child. Then he will finally make his way up to Bellingham for a week until he has to fly back to Missouri while his daughter finishes out the school year.

Cameron is asking for your help because he misses you and he has been donating his time for good; thus, upon arrival he will be undeniably poor, but rich in spirit. He would love to be with all of you during the holidays and is willing, in his words:

" trade manual labor to anyone who donates (within a reasonable amount), dress up in ridiculous costumes and parade myself around in public, be your adult beverage fetcher for the night, read to your kids/babysit, draw nude pictures of your loved one(s) for posterity, tell you stories from the South, whatever. Please, please, let me come home. I'll be good (or bad), promise."
