We are Sam's friends, here to help out with the medical bills associated with his lymphoma treatment & subsequent bone marrow transplant.
Without a whiff of self-pity, our friend Sam Davis is beating cancer. He spent months in and out of Dana Farber going through chemotherapy as if it were a coffee run. He played guitar for the nurses. He roamed the halls showing off his hats. He did what he always does – had a good laugh and made everyone around him feel better.
Now in remission, Sam needs a bone marrow transplant in order to prevent the lymphoma from returning to his body. No doubt he will handle this in the usual manner.
But there’s one issue. Sam has been and will continue to be limited in his ability to teach guitar for the next 3-6 months. Combine that with mounting post-insurance medical bills and you’ll quickly realize that there is a way in which we can help.
This page has been set up in order to let you help today. Please donate what you can by clicking below. We need to help Sam focus on getting back to 100% and able to teach full time again. The world will sound a lot better that way!
Sam’s friends in the local music community are also planning upcoming fund raising events. We will spread the word about these events here and throughout social media.
Please reach out if you’re interested in helping more.
