All memorial donations received will go towards securing Anthony's final wish of being buried with his family in New Jersey.

On April 8, 1936, Anthony Michael Berardo, was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He had one daughter who survives him, Robyn Berardo. Anthony lived in New Jersey and then later in Dania Beach, Florida, where he loved to go to the beach or walk down the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on a warm, breezy night. He was known up and down the east coast as one of the best horseracing handicappers around. Two years ago after some unfortunate misfortunes and his health begining to fail, he made a temporary move to Grinnell, Iowa, to be near family and get the medical care he needed. He was still in the process of this when he passed away unexpectedly around March 17th. He is survived by his daughter, Robyn Berardo, Grinnell, Iowa, grandchildren, Mathew (Jamie) McClenathan of Brooklyn, Iowa, Katelyn (Ben) McClelland, of Katy, Texas, and Jenna Bales of Grinnell, Iowa. He is also survived by his first great-grandchild, Guinevere Michele McClenathan, who he was looking forward to attending the baptism of on his birthday, April 8, Easter Sunday. Anthony passed away unexpectedly and without financial resources to cover all the costs of transport to and burial of his remains in New Jersey, where his great wish was to be laid to rest beside his beloved mother, Adelina, his father, Emilio, and his brother, Patrick. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Anthony M. Berardo Memoriial Fund.
