Family & Friends of Brandon Wolfe are uniting to raise money to for expenses brought on by his cancer diagnosis. Help Support!

On March 24th, Brandon Wolfe received the news that all families pray they will never have to hear. He was diagnosed with stage 3 Burkitt’s Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma that has left tumors on his esophagus, stomach, and pancreas. This was just days before his 19th birthday. Burkitt's lymphoma is a rare and aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer with approximately 300 cases a year in the United States. This form of cancer can spread very rapidly. The tumors can even double in size in less than 24 hours.

Brandon has spent the majority of this past year confined to a hospital room. The medical interventions have wrecked havoc on his body. As you can imagine, this unexpected family crisis has taken quite a toll on Brandon, emotionally and financially.

Thankfully, Brandon in remission. He had his last chemo treatment in the middle of September. But then, just days after his very last chemo treatment, Brandon became extremely ill and once again has been in the hospital every since. Doctor's are puzzled. He's not getting much better. Come to find out the fever, sores, and blood infection are not a result of the chemo. The doctors are not sure what it's from. He has had some blood transfusions etc... so far nothing has helped. On top of being sick, he's dealing with some rough emotions right now. For the past 6+ months, Brandon has been looking forward to the day of his last chemo treatment... Looking forward to no more hospitals, no more feeling sick, looking forward to being a normal 19 yr old. He was sadly mistaken and more than disappointed when that last chemo treatment has come and gone.

He's not allowed to leave his hospital room and there is no sight of him being released any time soon. It's hard to keep your head up when it feels like there's nothing to look up too... Doctors are requesting Brandon have as little contact with others as possible due to his immune system is dangerously compromised and has nothing to fight even the common cold. He has infection throughout his body and the doctors are still trying to find out the source of his fever. He is very sick.

The family is making a personal request that people show their support for Brandon in other ways. Help by making a donation online and/or attending his benefit coming up in October. He would love to hear from everyone, send him a card and write a funny memory of you and him, anything to lift his spirits. We know Brandon loves his friends and family immensely and would love to hear from you. Please send any cards or well wishes to St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka or Brandon's home address.

This has been an extremely rough road for Brandon and it just seems to keep going. We want to make sure he can put this behind him and not be financially ruined for years to come. So any and all help are WELCOME to help!

Thank you all, words cannot express how wonderful it is to know so many people are praying and willing to help... Brandon's Family
