This is a fundraiser to help in the care of my 4 year old neice Emily, who has stage 4 Neuroblastoma. The money is to make it possible for her to go home between her treatments, and have as normal a life as possible, and also for upcoming surgery.

Emily is a very beautiful, brave, and amazing little girl fighting a very strong, mean and scary disease.  She is four years old, and has stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Emily lives with her father, and is being treated at The Colorado Childrens's Hospital.  I am doing this fundraiser to to help little Emily come home from the hospital in between her painfull and exhausting treatments. She will also be undergoing bone marrow transplant sugery. While the surgery itself is expensive, what comes after is also. Because her immune system will be virtually nonexistant, Emily will need to be in a sterile enviroment for two to three weeks. Even her food has to be prepared in a sterile enviroment, costing over $100 a day. When she is released from the hospital following the surgery, she will need a whole new setup in her home including a visiting nurse. All of this comes at an enormous expense for her single father.

Just a small update:  Emily went through a tough round of Chemo last week and got through it like a real trooper!!!!   Bone marrow coming up quickly.

Emily is an only child and means the world to so many people. Anything you can contribute, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated by Emily and her family.  Thank you so very much for caring and for your generosity in a little girl's time of need.
