The family and friends of Stella are uniting to raise money to help with mounting medical costs to help her battle CUPS disease.

Stella is a five year old rescue dog who is suffering from CUPS disease. CUPS (Chronic Ulcerative Paradental Stomatitis) is a painful periodontal disease that can occur in any dog at any time. It is an autoimmune issue where the body overreacts to the plaque and bacteria on teeth causing ulcers to form on the gums and tongue. Despite constant brushing, medications and many professional cleanings, these ulcers have caused Stella to stop eating and be fearful of being touched, even by her devoted Mom. Her Mom has sold her car and furniture to try to pay for the mounting medical expenses. The only option left is to have all her teeth pulled and the cost is beyond reach. In addition to being a smart, gentle, funny, faithful and beloved pet, Stella is also a fixture at her mom's dog day camp and training facility. She not only joyfully greets all clients, she has come to play an important role in training demonstrations and helping with new day camp dog evaluations. However, she has now become so ill that she spends all her time sleeping under her moms desk. She is still so young and has so much more life in her. Won't you please join me in helping Stella regain her quality of life? Any small amount will help as this is a very frustrating and expensive disease to fight.
