Please join this community in supporting John and his family in their fight to overcome this disease and the hardship it brings. God Bless

Friends and family of John Brown are uniting to raise funds to combat his recent and unexpected diagnosis of stage 3b Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This diagnosis comes only one year after already having been diagnosised with a rare auto-immune disorder. Because of this dual diagnosis, John has been faced with many difficult decisions.

With the encouragement of friends and family, John first decided to pursue an alternative cancer treatment that is focused on thorough detoxification and intensive nutritional treatment. This choice was reasonable because while chemotherapy is fairly effective at treating Hodgkin's, it can be devastating to an already compromised immune system.

This alternative treament, know as the Gerson Therapy, takes an enormous committment level, of not only John but also his family and his resources.  John made a personal decision of faith to proceed with chemotherapy first, with the real hope of infusing the Gerson Therapy into his life following the chemo.

John is now 25% complete with chemo and is in great spirits. This treatment is, however, an enormous battle on his immune system. Please consider this unique situation in your prayers. As they inncur the associated costs of this conventional treatment, please also consider in your support the related expenses of the Gerson Therapy that are not covered by any form of insurance.

John is married to his high school sweetheart Kip, and they are the loving parents of two young and energetic children, Kash and Jubilee. John has served his community for eight years as a Firefighter and EMT and supported Kip as she has served in the hospitals as a nurse. Together, their faith has led them through adversity, and now more so than ever.

Thank you in advance for your support, prayers and generous contributions.
