Pastor Diann would like to unite with you, to raise a monetary blessing to help Brandon and family, with the battle of Hischsprung Disease.

Brandon Legardye was born June 13, 2000. On that wonderful and beautiful day, Brandon was diagnoised with Hirschsprung Disease and Milrotation.

Hirschsprung (Hursh-Sprungz) Disease (HD) is a disease affecting the large intestine, otherwise known as the colon.

HD is a congenital disease, which means a person is born with it. HD also has hereditary component and can be passed on from parent to child. It is a rare disease that affects one in 5,000 live births.

Hirschsprung Disease occurs when nerve cells are absent in the intestinal wall. Nerve cells act as messengers that carry electrical impulses through the body. In HD, these cells are absent making complete digestion and elimination of feces difficult or impossible.

The lack of nerve cells in part of the intestine, interrupts the electrical signals form the brain and prevents peristalsis from occuring.

As a result of this disease, Brandon has already had 26 surgeries which have left him with no large intestine, no appendix and only 18 inches of small bowel. He also wears a colostomy bag, which he has had to wear since he was 2 weeks old.

Brandon is in need of more intensed medical attention and surgeries, so I am petitioning your help to assist his family in covering the enormous medical expenses that accompany this disease.
